I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! I went out a played a round of golf in short sleeves and shorts, crazy! ;-)
- This is a reminder that we have a teacher workshop day on Tuesday, November 8th, and the students do not have school. Also, we will not have school on Friday, November 11th in honor of Veteran's Day.
- Thursday, November 10th is our Veteran's Day assembly. The chorus has been asked to dress nicely, possibly in red, white, and blue. It would be wonderful if we could have the whole school dress up for the assembly as well.
- Reminder that the food drive will be going on until November 16th.
Math - This week we will practice finding the area of rectangular figures with fractional side lengths
Language Arts - The students will focus on their personal narrative endings, and then peer edit. We should be completing our final drafts by next week.
The students need to finish their reading group books this week. They will focus on summarizing and have their last meeting on Thursday.
Science - Water project presentations are this week. I am so excited to see them shine! We will also be watching ecology presentations from scientists around the world through OurEcho Biodiversity. Ask your students about them.
We will move on to Social Studies next week.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out. The best way to get a hold of me is through email. I try to check it multiple times during the day, sara.lindgren@rsu35.org
Have a great week!
